Consultation

When you schedule a consultation, a member of our team will meet you at your property to discuss goals, material, color choices, and more. During the walk-through, we will discuss your ideas and their feasibility and determine an appropriate plan of action.

Design Agreement

​

Once a plan of action is determined, you will be provided with a preliminary verbal estimate. Once accepted, an estimate and design agreement specifies what will be designed and included in the plan and what other documents will be provided.

Site Analysis & Design

​

Your property will be evaluated during the initial walk-through where structures, plants, and grade changes are all reviewed and noted. With the combination of the property analysis and your vision, we create an aesthetic and functional outdoor plan for your review where details are worked through and a final agreement is reached.

Contract & Scheduling

​

The contract details the scope of work that will be performed with a line item breakdown of costs included in both estimate and invoicing, general terms of the contract, and a payment schedule will also be included. When we receive the signed contract you are immediately added to our schedule. Typically a down-payment is requested with the signed contract but will be held until start of the project.

Construction

​

Appearance Improvement will secure both plants and hard goods needed for the work when the contract is signed. Pre-planned logistics of moving equipment, materials, and work implementation are also discussed to ensure timely completion. 

​

Depending on the complexity and duration of a project, regular site visits are made during the construction phase and are available to answer questions, and concerns or bring attention to any unforeseen issues.

Project Completion

​

On project completion, Appearance Improvement will walk you through the project to make sure you are happy with the final product. You will be provided with basic upkeep information.
